Flutter Developer

At Adapta, we build technology that truly matters. With our superapp Hello, we support over 10,000 healthcare professionals in the community daily. We're about to make a big leap in our product development, with smart expansions, exciting innovations, and new modules that make community nurses' work more enjoyable, better, and easier.

That's where we need you: an experienced Front-end Developer who breathes Flutter, works independently, and loves to set the technical bar high.

What will you do?

• Build new features and modules in our Hello app

• Collaborate with product and UX on impactful solutions

• Eliminate bugs and technical debt

• Review code (and sometimes teach your Flutter Developer colleague Eugenio something new ;))

• Work in sprints, contribute to discussions about architecture, CI/CD, and strategy

• Review your own work and that of your colleagues: how can we organize ourselves smarter and optimize our work?

What do you bring?

• Experience with Flutter (or React/React Native combined with the desire to learn Flutter)

• Affinity with scrum, cloud, security, and user experience

• Knowledge of and experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong communication skills (English is our working language)

• Team player who loves to learn and inspire others with your enthusiasm

• Affinity and inner interest for healthcare 

• You need to be based in the Netherlands to apply for this position

• You need to be eligible to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship 

What will you do in your first 6 months?

You start with impact: you help build the new omnichannel module where communication via chat, video calling, and messaging comes together. At the same time, you work on smart innovations, such as the alert function and wearables integration, so community nursing can act even more proactively.

An important part of your work is implementing the complete redesign of the Hello platform. You translate the new design system into a scalable Flutter frontend with reusable components, consistent theming, and a modern brand identity. You work closely with the UX/UI team and our experienced front-end developer to understand choices, further strengthen the technical foundation of the app, and make our front-end structure future-proof.

You think along about an efficient setup of standard components, and about how we can smartly test and validate these — both automatically and with users. Together, you ensure that the design comes to life pixel-perfectly, without compromising on performance, accessibility, or maintainability.
